Men and Womens Process Groups

The group consists of 10-12 group memebers age 25 and up

Process groups involve a small gathering of individuals, led by a therapist or facilitator. The group meets weekly to explore and discuss their thoughts, feelings, and experiences within a safe and confidential environment.   The group setting allows individuals to gain support, feedback, and different perspectives from others who may be going through similar situations. Process groups often emphasize the dynamics and interactions among group members rather than focusing solely on specific topics or content. The therapist may guide the group in exploring how members relate to each other, communicate, handle conflicts, and provide mutual support.   Process groups can be beneficial for various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, and more. They offer a supportive environment for self-discovery, learning new coping strategies, enhancing communication skills, and improving interpersonal relationships. Confidentiality is typically a crucial aspect of process groups to create a safe space for members. Group facilitators establish ground rules and boundaries to ensure a respectful and supportive atmosphere.
